A Practical Team Supporting the Complete Beekeeping Value Chain
African Beekeepers Limited brings together management, technical, training, production and administrative personnel to support its beekeeping operations.
The team combines organizational leadership with practical experience in hive manufacturing, apiary management, beekeeper training, honey production and day-to-day operational support.
This range of skills allows ABL to manufacture equipment, support field projects, train beekeepers and receive, process and package honey within an integrated operational structure.
LEADERSHIP AND ADMINISTRATION
Coordinating Strategy, Operations and Support
General Manager: Provides overall leadership and ensures that the company’s production, training, field and commercial activities remain aligned with its mission and business objectives.
Operations Manager: Coordinates the company’s day-to-day operational activities, including production planning, field assignments and service delivery.
Administration Team: Two administration positions support office management, documentation, communication, logistics and the coordination of internal company processes.
TECHNICAL AND FIELD TEAM
From the Workshop to the Apiary
Workshop Supervisor and Storekeeper: Oversees workshop activities, production materials, equipment storage and the movement of completed beekeeping products.
Beekeeping Field Technician: Supports apiary establishment, hive installation, inspections, colony management and technical assistance to farmers and project partners.
Beekeeping Trainer: Delivers practical instruction to beekeepers on bee management, hive use, honey harvesting and responsible beekeeping practices.
PRODUCTION AND SUPPORT
Skilled Hive Manufacturing and Operational Support
Carpentry Team: A lead carpenter and three assistant carpenters manufacture Langstroth beehives, hive components and related wooden beekeeping equipment.
Their work supports ABL’s commitment to producing reliable, standardized and locally appropriate equipment for commercial apiaries, development projects and individual beekeepers.
Office Messenger: Provides important logistical and administrative support, helping maintain efficient communication and movement of documents and materials.
